Real metal, not glass. These have no holes or rips, and you know that these shook and tore, as well as rusted out, this pair being probably the best set I have seen. Hard to find in any condition, these have been off a truck for at least 15 years. I know how much it costs to repair metal, and it is not cheap. 900.00 for the pair, I may consider a reasonable offer.
