This is a very cool TSB, # 1873, dated 6-12-70. From what I understand, they ran out of 7-1/4 diffs at the Windsor plant, and it was signed off by a shift manager to replace with 8-3/4 to keep things moving. Rumored up to 50 /6 cars built this way. I found one @ a pick 'n pull years ago. Click image to see full size.
